Fall is my favorite season and with it comes a plethora of new fashion, cosmetics, accessories, and fragrances. I am in major Pre-Fall mode as I am every year at this time. I celebrate as a true Virgo all that is life and style.

The aroma of pumpkin spice, nutmeg, caramel and cinnamon apple will be echoed throughout my home and office and my Fall fragrance wardrobe will be in full effect. As a former fragrance model, I can never covet enough delicious fragrance in my style rotation. I always enjoyed learning about each luxury perfume that was in my retail line up from LVMH, Christian Dior and Hanae Mori and every perfumery class I attended was so informative and fun. The composition of the top/head, middle/heart and base notes make each perfume unique to the dry down on your skin. Once the essence of that aroma is captured you may have found your signature scent. 

When a fashion house creates their signature perfume and offers ancillary products that work in tandem with the scent, they know it's all about layering!  As with Fall fashion, layers are key to all fragrance, and it starts in the shower. 

Sure, you can spray your perfume once or twice or refresh throughout the day, but for a lasting first impression your signature scent should start with a subtle scented body wash/gel then to a beautiful lotion and/or cream that melts into your skin to the perfume finale and for extra seductive elegance add a scented hair mist.

Fragrance brings about joy and passion for life. An intoxicating scent can elevate your mood just like a scrumptious pair of Fall boots and a mouthwatering new handbag! I lost my sense of smell for over a year when I was sick, so I now revel in my morning shower routine never taking for granted my bath and body products while infusing my life with exquisite fragrance.

My vanity favorites include Christian Dior J'Adore along with the shimmering body scrub and luscious body cream. 

It's no surprise that Maison Francis Kurkdjian's Gentle Fluidity is another perfume I adore since Francis is the Creative Director for Dior. His perfume is simply to live for and indulge in!

And, for the ultimate Fall fragrance experience Bond No. 9 never disappoints with so many delightful scents to choose in this line, Madison Avenue is my favorite.
