April showers delivered an array of May flowers to the fashion landscape this spring and I could not be happier to see the return of this understated elegance and timeless appeal! I am not one for trends, as Karl Lagerfeld once said "trendy is the last stage before tacky," but I am for "of the moment" and floral is definitely "of this moment."

Floral styles are certainly nothing new and have been consistently identified in fashion houses for decades, i.e., Chanel, Christian Dior, Saint Laurent, Valentino, Carolina Herrera, and Halston to name a few.

There is just something extra special about it!  And even more special when our accessories are adorned in floral. All eyes upward on the floral choker... 

The above photos were my favorite floral looks from The Met Gala and I am giving a standing ovation to the designers and stylists who returned this 90's accessory to the fashion runway!
